I think spitting out the available commands is a fantastic idea. I don’t think version numbering needs to be that tight, though I would say it really depends on how often it’s going to be updated. Adding a few commands without updating the version number should mostly be fine, removing commands should be always be a new version.
There are a few small issues I have noticed with my weapons console. Nothing I would really call a bug, just things not working as I expect. I noticed that the status of a torpedo tube doesn’t actually change until the torpedo is unlinked / destroyed.
I assume this is because it’s linked to the info panel that displays those details. A torpedo that is fully change and / or has been fired shouldn’t list as spinning up. Once the torpedo has been fired, the tube should read as empty.
In both those case though, I am assuming I can hook TUBE_LAUNCHED, and if that is true, ignore the other status signals to get a, to me, more realistic display.
Also increasing torpedo selected above 5 would be nice.
