Ha! THA is fine. They’ve been calling me that since BBS days (yeah - I’m dating myself).
Open world is tough, but the emergent gameplay possibilities from designing systems instead of trying to tell a story, allows for a much richer and more personal gaming experience for your players… assuming there are enough details, actors, and lore in your world for players to build their own stories with.
Open world development sounds a lot like trying to build the pyramids by first modeling the sand, so I’m not suprised it’s been a while.
I hope to develop games of my own some day, but until then, I love supporting small teams trying big things. Keep up the good work!
