I noticed that when taking multiple missions with the same destination and commodity, the system ‘eats’ the extra commodities during the first turn-in. I wasn’t able to complete the (one of two) missions because the turn in makes multiple stacks ‘disappear’. The missson was stuck and I eventually received the dreaded blacklist email (x2). is there a way to earn your way back from being blacklisted?
I was attempting my first shot at bounty hunting, found a target and fired off an emp torpedo. The target eluded me (disappeared), so I disengaged the torpedo somehow and it targeted me (or might have been return fire). In any case, the emp struck and disabled any ability to navigate, set a waypoint, fire engines etc. So I looked through all my modules, taking them off/online, opened each module and looked at the components and wasn’t able to find any fault (all were connected/powered up, no red). This caused me to drift silently through space and eventually off the main map into nothingness. Maybe this is a feature? If so, a long distance distress beacon would be nice, or on the other hand, when moving off the map, you should? move into another sector of space adjacent to it. In regards to the first problem, it would be nice to have some sort of diagnostic utility on the terminal that would point you in the right direction of the fault or assist with troubleshooting the ship (if I missed something in regards to the EMP).
The Ava mission stuck for me as well. I think what happened is that I was on the station after her email was sent, I talked to her and dismissed her. Went back into space and then read email and confirmed it. Went back to the station and she couldn’t be found (or didn’t respawn). I’m sure your team is working on a way to delete missions?
I forget which sector it was, but I can’t see who would want to move food and beverage commodities around seeing that they earn very little profit. Maybe this should become the beginning sector?
Even after all of this (being blacklisted, not finding any trading contracts unless moving into an entirely new sector (food, beverages, naw.) not finding any passengers except one time), I think you guys are doing a great job.
Thanks for your time.
